Whether your first suit or your fiftieth, our Made-To-Measure tailoring is made in England, finished by hand and unique to you. Here is our guide to how the process works.
1. A handmade suit, created just for you
When you visit J.P. Hackett No.14 Savile Row, you’ll be introduced to our Made-To-Measure tailoring consultant. Over tea, or something stronger, you will discuss what you have in mind for your suit; we’ll talk personal taste, your lifestyle, and whether the suit is for business or pleasure.
2. The Perfect Cut
We base our Made-To-Measure suits on one of three blocks. The Windsor is a modern, lightly structured jacket. For traditionalists, we cut a Classic English block for an authentic Savile Row look, and Mr Hackett’s own block is finished with a comfortable canvas and a flattering silhouette.
3. Meticulous Attention to Detail
Our Made-To-Measure service is completely flexible. Choose from over 9,000 different fabrics, and specify the cut of your suit from the lapels, to buttons, vents and pockets, as well as the design details on your trousers and waistcoat.
