Men's suit trousers in 100% pure wool — milled to Hackett London's own specification, in weights that run from 180 g/m² in tropical weave for warmer months to 310 g/m² in flannel for the cooler season — offer a recovery and a drape that wool-blend alternatives do not reach. The waistband is reinforced with a curtain of tightly woven tape sewn flat to the lining: it keeps the band from rolling after a full day of wear. Internal seams are flat-stitched; the seat is double-sewn. Superfine merino — with a fibre diameter below 18.5 microns — makes up the premium line: soft enough to be worn without discomfort through a full working week, structured enough to hold its shape to the end of it.
Pleated fronts — single or double depending on the cut — give more room through the thigh and sit naturally with heavier cloth weights and the Regular Fit. Flat-front models offer a cleaner, more contemporary line and are best matched with Slim Fit cuts and lighter weaves. Where a turn-up is offered, it is hand-pressed and sewn at the hem.
